58 Indian fishermen to be released today

The 58 Indian fishermen released from Sri Lankan jails will be brought back to Karaikal port by the Indian coast Guard tonight, foreign media reported.

The Indian Coast Guard in turn will be handing over 17 Lankan fishermen released from Indian jails while their ten boats will also be returned to Sri Lankan Navy at the international maritime boundary line today.

 

Indian media reported that 58 Indian Tamil fishermen released from Lankan jail and their 11 boats will also be handed over to Indian Coast Guard by Lankan Navy. They will reportedly be handed over to their local Fisheries authorities and sent back to their villages.
