Strong winds expected over the island

The Met. Department says that several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts particularly during the morning.
It says that strong winds at times (up to 50-60 kmph) can be expected over the island particularly over the western slopes of the Central hills.
