Navy seize gold slabs hidden inside fishing boat

Two persons with 45 kilograms of gold slabs arrested by the SL Navy on the seas 25 nautical miles west off Mathagal, a source from the Navy said.
The apprehended gold is to be handed over to Sri Lanka Customs for further investigations.
SL Navy on Monday also seized more than 1.7 kilograms of gold hidden inside a fishing boat that was said to be smuggled to India.
