‘Galu Kumari’ and ‘Ruhunu Kumari’ canceled due to derailment

The Matara-bound ‘Ruhunu Kumari’ train which was scheduled to leave Maradana Railway Station at 3.40pm today has been canceled due to a derailment in Kalutara, the Railway Control Room said.

A train engine has derailed near the Kalutara Railway Station thereby obstructing train services on the line.

Meanwhile the ‘Galu Kumari’ train which was scheduled to leave the Maradana station at 2.15pm today was also canceled.
