Armed robbery at jewelry shop in Homagama

Four armed men stormed a jewelry store in the Homagama area this morning and made off with a large number of gold jewelry believed to be worth millions of rupees.

The exact value of the stolen gold jewelry is yet to be estimated, however the suspects are believed to have robbed gold worth several millions.

Homagama Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
