20 injured in Dambulla bus accident

At least 20 persons were injured and hospitalized after a bus collided with a lorry on the Dambulla-Kekirawa road, this morning (30), the police said.


The accident occurred after the private bus traveling towards Dambulla collided with the lorry which was parked on other side of road near the Mirisgoniyawa junction at around 7.15 am.


The wounded persons have been admitted to the Dambulla District hospital for treatments.
