Man’s body found in Dematagoda

The body of a man has been found near a housing scheme in Dematagoda this afternoon (26), the Police Spokesperson said.   


The police have not yet identified the victim.


The cause of death is also yet to be ascertained as the post-mortem examination has not been conducted, the Police Spokesperson added.  


The body has been deposited at the mortuary of the Colombo National Hospital while Maradana Police are conducting an investigation.
