Heavy traffic in Colombo due to rain

Heavy traffic congestion has been reported at several areas within Colombo as some roads were inundated due to prevailing adverse weather conditions.
The Department of Meteorology had predicted showers or thunder showers at a few places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts after 2.00p.m.
Misty conditions are also possible in the morning, it said.
