Three arrested over Mawathagama child’s murder

Three individuals including a 42-year old have been arrested in connection the murder of a 13-year-old girl in Palgaspitiya, Mawathagama.
The suspects will be produced before the Magistrate today, the police Spokesperson said.
The body of the 13-year-old child was discovered at a residence in Palgaspitiya, Mawathagama.
Police said that the body was found inside the kitchen of the house and that the cause of death has not been ascertained yet. Mawathagama Police is conducting further investigations.
