Heavy traffic due to protest against Indo-Lanka ETCA

Severe traffic congestion has been reported in the Town Hall area in Colombo due to a protest march by several professional associations.

The protest is organized by the United Professionals’ Movement, which a collective of unions such as the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) and Engineering Associations.

It is being held against the proposed Indo-Sri Lanka Economic and Technology Cooperative Agreement (ETCA).
