The Colombo Chief Magistrate today granted bail to MP Kumara Welgama over a case filed against an illegal payment of Rs.3.2 million to the Vice Chairman of the SLTB.

he was ordered released on a cash bail of Rs 25,000 and two personal bails of Rs 1 million each.

This came after the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption had filed a case against the MP last month.
