President Sirisena meets German Chancellor

President Maithripala Sirisena met the German Chancellor Angela Merkel a short while ago at the Chancellor’s office in Berlin.


During the visit the president will meet the three highest citizens in the Federal republic of Germany, including the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President of the Bundestag (Speaker) Prof. Dr. Norbert Lammert, and Federal President of Germany Joachim Gauck.


President will spend three days in Germany before leaving for Vienna on a 2-day visit to Austria.
