Satyagraha against President and Govt...

A collective of civil society organisations and trade unions launched a ‘Satyagraha’ near the Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo today (21). The Satyagraha was launched in protest against the President’s recent “unconstitutional” actions to form a “rogue” government by removing the former Prime Minister and appointing Mahinda Rajapaksa as premier.
