Scheduled power cuts for next 2 days

Power cuts will be imposed across the country on Wednesday (16) and Thursday (17) under 4 different groups during the day and the night.
Minister of Power and Renewable Energy Ranjith Siyambalapitiya made this announcement at a press conference after engaging in an inspection tour of the Norochcholai coal power plant, which has suffered a breakdown.
Power cuts will be imposed for 5 ½ hours during the day and 2 hours during the night under following groups:
A: 7.00am - 12.30pm & 6.00pm – 8.00pm
B: 7.00am - 12.30pm & 6.00pm – 8.00pm
C: 12.30pm – 6.00pm & 8.00pm – 10.00pm
D: 12.30pm – 6.00pm & 8.00pm – 10.00pm
