Severe traffic reported on Colombo - Avissawella road

Severe traffic jam reported on Colombo - Avissawella road after a CTB bus collided with eight vehicles at Avissawela town, the police said.


Three persons have been injured following the accident that occurred a short while ago on Monday (11) morning.


Due to brake failure, the bus has rammed into the vehicles, according to the police. 


The injured persons were admitted to the Avissawella Base Hospital for treatments.
