Will take tough decisions in the future - President

President Maithripala Sirisena says that the government will take tough decisions in the future in the interest of the country and its citizens.  

He was answering questions from media organizations in an interview telecast live today on all non-state media channels.

The President further said that he has put a good system in place to fight corruption in his Government. “Its benefits will soon be visible to us all.”

He stated that there are politicians who have allegations of corruption and that anyone who is proven guilty will be banished from the party immediately.
