Foreign national killed due to elephant attack

A foreign national was trampled to death by a wild elephant on Habarana- Sigiriya road.
The incident occurred this afternoon (24), according to police. The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Ukrainian.
The remains of the deceased are deposited at the Dambulla hospital pending an autopsy.
