Ranjan Ramanayake arrives at FCID

Deputy Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare Ranjan Ramanayake arrived at the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) this afternoon (31), the police said.


A statement will be recorded from him with regard to the investigation on allocation of Rs. 200 million to former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella as expenses for medical treatments through the Presidential Secretariat.


Earlier, Secretary to the former President, Lalith Weeratunga, was summoned and questioned by the FCID in this regard as well.
