Met. Department predicts showers today

The Met. Department expects showers or thundershowers at times in the Western, North-Western, Southern, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces today (12).
A few showers also expected in the North and North-central provinces.
Showers or thunder showers are likely at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces after 2.00 p.m.
Strong winds could be expected at times over the country, particularly over Western slopes of the central hills and Northern, North central and Eastern provinces.
