Two drown when boat capsizes in Anuradhapura

Two people including a girl drowned Monday morning (27) when a small boat they were traveling in capsized in the Bandarabulankulama tank, an official said.


The deceased aged 19 and 21 have been identified as residents of Ambagaswewa area in Polonnaruwa.


Their remains were taken to the Anuradhapura Teaching hospital for a post-mortem.
