Two dead after motorcycles collide in Kahawatta

Two persons were killed following a head-on collision involving two motorcycles in the Godagama area in Kahawatta.

Police said that the two motorcyclists, a 32-year-old from Pelmadulla and a 21-year-old from Kahawatta, were pronounced dead on admission to the Kahawatta Hospital.

The remains have been placed at the hospital while the postmortem examination is to be performed today (23).
