Six members of same family injured in knife attack

Six persons have been hospitalized after being attacked with sharp objects in the Mamadala area in Ambalantota.
Ada Derana reporter said that a family dispute had escalated into a clash between two groups last evening (19).
During the situation, six members of the same family including two women had sustained injuries inflicted from sharp objects.
They have been admitted to Ambalantota and Hambantota hospitals while two of the victims receiving treatment at the Hambantota Hospital have been transferred to the Karapitiya Hospital.
Ambalantota Police has arrested a suspect in connection with the incident.
