Brawl involving school students: courts grant bail

Five school students who were arrested following a clash between students from two schools have been released on bail, Ada Derana reporter said.


They were released after being produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.


According to reporter, the students will appear before the court again on 29 February. 


Meanwhile, ten students who were arrested by the Maradana police have been granted bail by the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court. Their case will be taken up for hearing again on 24 February.
