Professor G.L.Peiris stated that President Maithripala should be able to cross off the sixth operative clause in the Geneva resolution, without acting like a spineless individual.

He further added that the commissioner of the Human rights council in Sri Lanka will be presenting a report on the current situation to the council tomorrow (22), and a final decision will be made by the council on Friday ( 24), during a press conference held at the Joint Opposition Party’s economic research center.
