Cannabis seized from a secret bunker , ex-PS member arrested

A haul of cannabis concealed inside a secret bunker at a residence of a former Pradeshiya Sabha member was discovered in Embilipitiya.
The raid was carried out by the Excise Department on Thursday. The officials said the ex-PS member was also taken into custody.
The Excise Department has seized over 370 kilograms of cannabis. According to officials, the secret bunker was build next to ex-PS member’s house in Panamure area.
The suspect and the haul will be produced before the Embilipitiya Magistrate today.
