Health workers protest…

The Joint Health Workers’ Union (JHWU) staged a protest in front of the Colombo National Hospital today (June 17). The protestors appealed to the government on several demands including resolution of transportation, vaccine and PPE issues, overtime allowances, and the confirmation of all casual, substitute employees who have completed 180 days.
