Shooting on prison bus: committee to submit report

The report prepared by the committee appointed to investigate the Kalutara prison bus shooting will be handed over to the relevant ministry, committee representatives reveal.
A spokesperson said the necessary steps to print the report have gotten underway and it will be concluded before Monday.
The report will be handed over to the Minister of Prisons Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement on either Wednesday or Friday, it was reported.
The police have identified the involvement of two underworld gangs in the shooting which left seven dead including two prison guards and the underworld figure known as Samayan.
