CEB Chairman Anura Wijayapala resigns

Anura Wijayapala, Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board has resigned, sources said. Wijayapala tendered his resignation Wednesday afternoon, it was reported.


Wijayapala obtained his Degree in Electrical Engineering at the Moratuwa University. He has worked during the past 30 years at many organisations in the engineering field. Wijayapala has also worked as a senior lecturer at the Moratuwa University Engineering faculty in 2005.
