Burned body found inside trishaw in Matara

A charred body of a person has been found from a trishaw in Kotawila area in Matara, police said.


The body was recovered early hours of this morning (30) after the cops were informed that two vehicles including the trishaw have caught on fire in Sulthangoda, Kotawila.


According to Ada Derana reporter, fire was doused with the assistance from the locals and police.


The identity of the person is still unknown, police added. The Kotawila police are conducting further investigations.
