Ravi meets with Chinese Ambassador

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ravi Karunanayake participated in a special discussion with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to Sri Lanka, Yi Xianliang.

The discussion took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the evening yesterday (05), Ministry sources confirmed.

The Ambassador had extended his congratulations on Ravi Karunanayake’s appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, reports revealed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also mentioned that the discussion paid special attention to the broadening of state relationships between the two countries.

The Minister had also taken the opportunity to express his appreciation for the support extended by the Government of China, towards the progress of Sri Lanka.
