Investigations on allegations made against Namal not over - FCID

The Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID)  has informed the Court that investigations on the allegations made against Namal Rajapakse regarding the purchasing of a service supplier to Sri Lankan Airlines, have not concluded as of yet. 

Ada Derana reporters revealed that the Criminal Investigation Department had informed the Additional Magistrate, Dulani Amarasinghe earlier today (22). 

The FCID added that they still have not received the requested bank account information registered under Namal Rajapakse, found in the United States and Australia. 

Upon a request made by the FCID, requesting for an extension so that moiré investigations can be carried out on the case, Amarasinghe has allowed them till the 11 of November 2017,  to present the progress reports to the Court.
