President Sirisena to visit Bangladesh on July 13

President Maithripala Sirisena will leave for Bangladesh on July 13 for a two-day official visit, following an invitation extended.


President Sirisena is also scheduled to call on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during the visit.


According to the President’s Media Unit, the President will too meet several top officials there including the Health Minister.


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will also be inked between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, it was reported. This will be President Sirisena’s first visit to Bangladesh.
