Anti-govt groups discouraging investments - Bandarigoda

UNP Parliamentarian Bandula Lal Bandarigoda stated that his party will not let individuals who want to sabotage the government, affect its stability.

The statements were made during a press conference held today (16), at the Sirikotha building.

He further added that although the economy is quite stable at the moment, he is suspicious of certain individuals who don’t support the idea of the government succeeding, are working towards discouraging local and foreign investments within the country.

Bandula stated that when President Maithripala Sirisena was elected into his position in 2015, the safety in the area surrounding garbage dumps was a prominent issue.

He concluded by stating that both himself, and other member of the United National Party (UNP), will be working towards ensuring that the government succeeds in the future.
