Shooting incident at IDH junction

A shooting incident has been reported near a fuel station located at IDH Junction in Gothatuwa, a short while ago.
Two individuals on a motorcycle had opened fire at a car before fleeing the scene. Three bullets had hit the front of the car while bullets had also reportedly hit a house located around 100m away from the scene.
However, police said that no one had sustained any injuries from the shooting, which is suspected to be underworld-related.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
