GMOA launches token strike

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) launched a token strike at 8.00 am today (25).

Secretary of the GMOA, Dr. Haritha Aluthge stated that the strike had been launched as the Government had not responded favourably to the requested made by the Association.

Dr. Aluthge proceeded to assure that emergency treatments and dengue treatments would be provided without restraint.

Meanwhile, he also mentioned that a protest rally had also been organized for today (25), opposing the functioning of SAITM.
