Former Air Force commander Harsha Duminda Abeywickrama has received his final notice to appear in court today (27).

The Colombo Additional Magistrate stated that the notice will be issued for the final time today (27), requesting Abeywickrama to appear in Court on the 2 of November.

Ada Derana correspondent stated that the final notice was issued in response to Abeywickrama’s absence from court today (27), as he was summoned to the premises today.

Former mayor of Ampara, Indika Nalin had called up Abeywickrama and had requested the transfer of a certain Air Force officer to be suspended, pretending to be MP Namal Rajapakse.

Abeywickrama has been called on to provide evidence, regarding the case filed by the Colombo Crime Division on the matter.
