Possible landslides in Kegalle and Matale

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has informed residents of Kegalle and Matara to remain on high alert for possible landslides that may occur due to prolonged rainfall that plagued the region. 

Assistant Director of the DMC Pradeep Kodippili has advised all residents to be weary of hazardous situations that may arise due to potential landslides. He further stated that residents of the Ingiriya, Bulathsinhala and Agalawatte areas should be vigilant of impending landslides.
