Water supply disruption due to damaged pipeline in Kadawatha

The Water Board announced that the water supply to several areas and roads in and around Kadawatha will be suspended for 12 hours from 9.30am today due to a damaged pipeline.

Accordingly the water supply to Kadawatha, Ragama Road, along Kandy-Colombo road from Kadawatha to Kiribathgoda, Pushparama Road, Genmulla Road, Kadawatha Town and Gonahena Road will be suspended.

Urgent repairs are currently being carried out after a pipeline had burst near the Kadawatha Police Station this morning (20), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
