October 25, 2017   02:03 pm

The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today rejected the request made by the owner of Perpetual Treasuries Limited, Arjun Aloysius, seeking permission to leave the country.

Earlier this month, the Colombo Fort Magistrate had issued a travel ban on Aloysius, Perpetual Treasuries CEO Kasun, Chief Dealer Nuwan Salgado and IT Executive Sachith Dewathantri.

They are among the accused in the ongoing investigations by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to look into the controversial Central Bank treasury bond scam.
