One person arrested with 105 grams of heroin

A suspect was arrested with 105 grams of heroin in Patiiyawila Junction, Kelaniya by the Organized Crimes Prevention Division (OCPD) this morning (25).
The arrest was made while the suspect was travelling in a three-wheeler following a tip-off received by the OCPD, the Police said.
The Police also seized cash amounting to Rs. 6.3 million along with the suspect.
The 40-year-old suspect residing in Gonawala will be produced before Mahara Magistrate.
Further investigations into the incident are being carried out by the OCPD.
