Chinese national arrested with 155 cigarette cartons

A Chinese national was apprehended by the Customs Anti Narcotic Division at the Arrival lounge of Bandaranayke International Airport while trying to smuggle in 155 Chinese cigarette cartons.

The suspect had reportedly arrived from Guangzhou,China at 6.30 am today (13) from flight  no. UL 881.
