Former Acting Crimes OIC of Mount Lavinia Police remanded

Former Acting Crimes OIC of Mount Lavinia Police arrested over Lasantha Wickramatunga’s murder was remanded till 16 February by Mount Lavinia Chief Magistrate.
The OIC of the Mount Lavinia Police Crime Division who was ssupended from service, was arrested and produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate yesterday (02) and remanded till January 16, the Police Spokesman’s office stated.
Journalist Lasantha Wickramatunga was murdered on January 08, 2009 in Attidiya, Ratmalana.
