Fire at a rubber factory in Ja-Ela

A fire erupted at a rubber factory last night in Raja Mawatha, Ja Ela. 

However, it was brought under control by the Fire Brigade, Police with the assistance of residents of the area.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained and no casualties were reported, the Police Media Unit said.

Further investigations into the incident are being carried out by Ja- Ela Police.
