Principal sentenced to 5 years rigorous imprisonment over bribery

The former principal of a school in the Matale area has been sentenced to 5 years rigorous imprisonment by Colombo High Court for accepting a bribe.

The Principal has allegedly accepted Rs 150,000 in 2014 to admit a Grade 1 student to the school.
