Twenty year old arrested carrying Cannabis on luxury bus

Vavuniya Police Headquarters have arrested a person while transporting Kerala Cannabis on Jaffna-Colombo luxury bus.
The arrest has been made when the police had installed roadblocks near the Nochchimotai Bridge and inspected the vehicles, based on a tip-off received by them.
Police have found three parcels containing 6kg of Kerala Cannabis on the suspect who is a 20 year old from Jampettah Street.
He will be produced at the Vavuniya magistrate’s Court and Vavuniya Police is conducting further investigations on the matter.
