Former Attorney General Shibly Aziz passes away

Shibly Aziz, a well-known and eminent President’s Counsel in Sri Lanka and a former Attorney General, passed away this morning (08) after a brief illness.
He was, until recently, a member of the Constitutional Council and had earlier served as the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka.
Funeral arrangements would be will be held at the Jawatha Mosque Burial Ground at 5.30 pm.
