Mother killed in clash between youths

A mother has been killed in assault by a group of youth in Kopay, last night (14), stated the Kopay Police.
The incident had taken place near the Development Centre in Western area in Urelu.
The deceased is 58 year old woman named Chandrarasa Wijayakumari, according to police.
According to preliminary investigations, the woman has been killed in when she had intervened a clash within a group of youths.
Police stated that investigations are underway to arrest the suspects with regard to the death.
Kopay police are conducting further investigations.
