Father of 3 found mysteriously dead in estate

Hatton Police have found a body of a male near a shed in the Upper Darawala Estate in Dick Oya at around 10 pm last night (16).

Workers of the estate had come across the body and then had informed the Hatton Police on it.

The deceased is a 65-year old father of 3 named S. Jesudasan from the Norwood New Valley Estate.

He had left home to visit a relative’s house in Menikwatte in Dick Oya last afternoon and as he had not returned since, his relatives had searched for him as been told to the Hatton Police.

Hatton police stated the body will be forwarded to the judicial medical officer following the magistrate’s inquest.

Hatton Police is conducting further investigations on the incident.
