Person nabbed at Maradana station with heroin worth Rs 6 mn

A person has been arrested near Maradana Railway Station over the possession of heroin, stated Police Media Spokesperson.

Police have found over 513 grams of heroin on the 41 year old suspect.

The value of the seized heroin is estimated at Rs 6 million, according to the police.

The arrested suspect will be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court, tomorrow (24).

Further investigations are being carried on regarding the matter.
