548 persons hospitalized over Christmas related accidents

Within the past 48 hours, a total of 548 persons have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital due to Christmas related accidents.

According to the National Hospital this a 13% increase when compared with the last year.

Meanwhile, 163 persons have been hospitalized for treatment due to road accidents.

This is an increase of 18% over the previous year, said the Colombo National Hospital.
